Brons FFC (FAMOUS FLUNG CHICKEN)

On Sunday, I made my famous Flung chicken for lunch
It’s called Flung chicken because all one does is take a chicken, wash it, smear it with olive oil and seasoning, stuff it with an onion, place in the roasting pan and fling it into the oven at about 180 degrees for an hour.
Once you have flung the chicken in the oven, peel, wash and pat dry some potatoes toss them in a little olive oil and fling those into the roasting pan with the chicken.
When the chicken was cooked and the potatoes nice and crispy, I removed them from the pan onto a platter. In the meantime I was steaming some veggies.
One of my SSB (Secret sordid behaviors) it to take white bread – only white bread will do – to mop up the yummy roasted chicken juices as well as all the gooey black bits in the pan. It is heavenly – and I do this furtively like a bulimic supermodel ( but I dont make myself puke afterwards) in the kitchen when no one is looking. Yes it is probaly unhealthy - but I have to die of something anyway.
Thereafter, I added some cornflour and water to the remaining pan scratching and made a lovely gravy on top of the oven.HTB was making sounds of raptured delight at the cooking smells. So lunch was duly served, and if I may say so myself, I do make the best roast chicken ever – and HTB agrees whole heartedly
