After work yesterday, Cuzz C and I bunked gym and met for coffee to catch up on more skinner. The coffee shop had a special with coffee and chocolate cake which we could not pass up. It was lovely and chocolaty and warm and gooey! We will work out extra hard at gym today to make up for our sins.
After coffee, I made it through the traffic home to the half completed floor sanding job, managed to make more space in the kitchen so HTB could access said kitchen.
I half heartedly and not very enthusiastically started supper by boiling some rice. I then plonked onto the bed – we have no lounge or TV currently. HTB came home from gym and offered to make his signature snoek and rice dish. I readily agreed. He made the supper and served it to me in bed with wine.
He then washed the dishes and made me tea which was served to me in bed also. A gal certainly can’t complain about that! HTB is a definite keeper.
